Pudina chutney (commonly known as 'Pudine ki chutney') or Mint chutney is a delicious spicy condiment (chutney) of Indian subcontinent. This green chutney is an excellent combination of refreshment, deliciousness and spiciness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mint leaves or Pudina
  • 1-2 Green Chilly
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry roasted Cumin powder (Jeera powder)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1-2 tablespoon Water or as needed
  • Sugar and Salt as per taste

How to make Pudina Chutney - Step by Step recipe

  • Pluck the Mint (Pudina) leaves from the stem. Rinse them well in water.

  • Take a blender. Add the mint leaves, chopped green chillies, sugar, salt and water.
  • Blend all the ingredients very nicely until the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Add some more water in between if required. And then blend again.
  • Finally add some dry roasted cumin powder.
  • Add the lemon juice for that extra tangy flavor.
  • Sweet and Sour Pudina Chutney is ready to be served.
